Case study
Kirk Basquez
A country and western artist based in Lincoln, available for private events, festivals and bar gigs across Northern California and Nevada. He needed one place to send a venue that tells his story, shows him on stage and makes booking him easy. We built his site in 2026 and look after it.

What they needed
One page a venue can say yes to.
Bookers decide quickly. They want to see the artist, hear what he is about and know how to reach him, without digging through menus.
So the brief was one page: performance first, then the story, the shows, the photos and video, and a booking form at the end.

What we built
Performance first, booking last, nothing in between to get lost in.
Every section is one tap from the menu, and the page reads top to bottom like a short set.

01
Story in his own words
The page opens on him performing, then moves straight into his story: where he grew up, the first guitar, the artists who shaped his sound.
A gallery you can drag through and a featured performance video sit just below.

02
Booking without the back and forth
The page ends with a short booking form: name, email and a note about the event. It checks for spam before a message is sent.
Private event, festival or bar gig, a venue goes from watching him play to asking about a date on the same page.
How we built it
Lighter on purpose.
We started with a content system behind the site, then moved it to a simpler build once it was clear he did not need one. That was our call, and it means less to look after and a page that is quick to load.
Photos and video from him
He sends new photos and clips, and we put them in the gallery and video sections.
His own domain
The site lives at his own name, kirkbasquez.com.
Ready for dates
The shows section is built in, ready for the next run of dates.
What it means for him
One link to send any venue.
Looks the part
Performance photos and video come first, the way a booker wants to see an artist.
Easy to book
The booking form is always one tap from the menu.
Nothing to maintain
He plays. We keep the site up to date.
