Case study
Cookie Cutter Pools
A custom gunite pool builder working across greater Sacramento, Vacaville and counties from Nevada to Sonoma. People shopping for a pool want to see real pools, know the builder works in their area and ask for a price without phone tag. We have looked after their website since 2020.

What they needed
From a pretty pool photo to a real estimate.
A pool is a big decision. Visitors browse photos for a long time, then want to know two things: do you build where I live, and roughly what would mine take?
The site needed to carry them from looking to asking, and hand the builder an estimate request with enough detail to start a real conversation.

What we built
Built around the estimate.
This summer we moved their site onto our current platform, our own upgrade. Their pages, photos, blog and estimate form came across with it.

01
An estimate form that speaks pool
The free estimate form asks what a builder needs to quote: the size, shape and depth, water features, a salt system, a spa and a cover.
Requests reach their office in the same layout they have always worked from, so nothing changed for the people answering them.

02
Pages for the places they build
Nevada County, Vacaville, Napa and Sonoma each have their own page about building there: popular designs, local ground and how they handle it.
Someone searching for a pool builder in their county lands on a page about their county.

03
Real pools, real reviews
The gallery sorts their finished pools by shape and feature, from water features to automatic covers.
Their Google reviews sit on the home page, and the blog answers the questions buyers ask, from heaters to sloped lots.
How we run it now
They send it over. We put it up.
Changes arrive in batches: a new article, a photo swap, a few words to fix. A few of the requests we have handled:
“Here is a new blog article. Please post it with the photos.”
“Swap the first photo in the home page slideshow.”
“Link the new article to our Nevada County and estimate pages.”
What it means for the business
Estimate requests with the details already in.
Estimates with detail
Requests arrive with the size, shape and extras already filled in.
Found where they build
Each county they serve has a page of its own.
A blog without the work
They write or send the article. We lay it out, add the photos and post it.
